What’s the one ritual you practice/follow every day?
I am ritualistic about my body and face skincare. I use the same Vera Bella products on my face night and day. Before I shower, I dry brush my entire body, then shower using a Korean scrub brush, and, afterward, I religiously use Kai butter cream (or any other major moisturizer) right after. I am obsessed with circulation and skin texture.

What ritual brings you the most happiness?
Spending time with my animals two rescued pups, Diego (black chihuahua) and Barb (white Chinese crested). Always adopt!

Do you have any health and/or fitness rituals?
I strength training ritualistically 4x a week with my coach and co-creator of my AB Fit App Programs, Brian Redfern. I try to do Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 1-2x a week.

Who has inspired or influenced any of your rituals?
Consistency inspires my rituals. Because they are scheduled in my calendar in advance I don’t miss my rituals. And because they are such habit for me, I feel lost without them! Fitness and my animals are my mental and physical therapy.

Do you use rituals to help you achieve your goals?
Because I am a hedonist at heart, rituals helped me establish my habits to be a more productive person. I have simple cues that help trigger habits. It can be something as little as putting a dish by my front door to place my keys every time I come home. I made myself put the keys in the bowl for a week till it became habit, and I finally stopped losing my keys in my house every day!

Do you have any meal-time rituals?
Eat what my body is craving. (even if it’s chocolate)

Who has inspired or influenced any of your rituals?
I am the one who sets up my rituals. As the defining meaning of ritual is “intention.” I have my life set on my calendar as a “repeat.” All of my training sessions, my self-care, mental health care, you name it. I have to have things set up as a ritual ahead of time because it’s not my nature to focus on myself. So my icalendar has the biggest influence on my rituals. ;)
